Nuno Ferraz

Nuno Ferraz takes over the gastronomic leadership of Renata Restaurant & Terrace, marking a new phase built on the combination of international experience, Douro roots, and a contemporary vision of Portuguese cuisine. With more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality and cruise lines, he has worked at renowned establishments such as The Yeatman Hotel, Six Senses Douro Valley, and Grande Hotel do Porto.



At the restaurant, he presents a culinary approach deeply connected to the region, local produce, and wine, highlighting seasonal ingredients and local producers. His cuisine draws on traditional inspirations, reinterpreted with a modern language, creating an experience designed to evoke memory and emotion at the table.

Our wine cellar comprises a wide selection of Portuguese and international references carefully chosen by our Head Sommelier.

Housing a wine cellar with more than 400 references, including around 50 by the glass, Renata offers a distinctive experience, whether you are a simple connoisseur or an expert oenophile. Variety, authenticity and character are the main characteristics of a rigorous selection of nectars, which represent and celebrate the culture of vineyards and wine in Portugal.
