João Vieira

With a rich background in renowned hotel kitchens, as well as contributing to revitalizing dining on the luxury ship Spirit of Chartwell, Chef João now leads the project of Renata Restaurant at Forte de Gaia, Autograph Collection. His approach is bold: he revisits Portuguese roots and blends them with flavors from the Lusophone world, creating dishes that are at once familiar and surprising.

Our wine cellar comprises a wide selection of Portuguese and international references carefully chosen by our Head Sommelier.

Housing a wine cellar with more than 400 references, including around 50 by the glass, Renata offers a distinctive experience, whether you are a simple connoisseur or an expert oenophile. Variety, authenticity and character are the main characteristics of a rigorous selection of nectars, which represent and celebrate the culture of vineyards and wine in Portugal.
